Line of sight - Eric Drooker

For the line of sight image, i have chosen the work of Eric Drooker whose work is often featured on the cover of the New Yorker. From looking at his work, I found that he commonly employes a strong, effective line of sight in his work.

I chose this image because i feel it has a really strong sense of perspective, and clear line of sight. There are many lines in the image that instantly direct your eye to the train tunnel. which is the main focus of the image- train tracks, the platform, and ceiling ceiling light. the person stood on the platform is also facing in the direction of the train, which guides the viewers attention.
The other focus of the image is the painted mural of animals. this is highlighted by the use of brighter colours, and the young boy looking in that direction. the animals are also facing in the direction of the tunnel, helping to direct your attention to this focus point.
