Developing characters

Todays session was really fun. Drawing on queue was a bit scary at fist, but actually really beneficial for me. i was far too precious about my drawings in the initial stage of the brief and needed this pressure to draw faster and get ideas down as quickly as possible. it really helped me loosen up and focus more on drawing a rough concept rather than producing finalised illustration.

Creating characters from simple shapes was quite challenging, but defiantly an interesting approach. i think this would have been a good method to use when a bit stuck on ideas. - provides a good starting point to bounce off.

Seeing potential in a character. - quite pleased with the witchy face. - tried to include less information.
